Crazy Stupid Love Giveaway

Thanks for playing!

Zoe Lynne is probably new to you, so let me take a minute to let you know what I'm all about, then as the end of this blog, I'll offer you a little prize.

I write strictly LGBTQ YA romance. By that, I mean, I write romances that appeal to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, pansexual and questioning youth.

The teenage years are a very confusing time for most teens, especially where their sexuality is concerned. Most kids are afraid to talk to adults and I've been fortunate enough to be part of a community group that supports those kids.

Now, I want to give something back...

My very first release under the name Zoe Lynne is available from Silver Stream Press, and I'm giving away a free copy of the ebook here. All you have to do is leave a comment with your email address to be entered in the giveaway.

About Love in the Spotlight...

There's nothing in the world Steven won't do for his best friend Becca, including ditching his schoolwork -- something he would never do -- just to escort her to some club so she can chase down her dream boy who happens to be the drummer in some kind of band. He didn't expect to set eyes on the most godly creation under the stars, and sure didn't expect that gorgeous hunk of man to have the voice of an angel.

While Becca and Mr. Dreamboat drummer boy get to know each other better in the diner parking lot after the big show, Steven and Thorne discover a mutual love for pancakes and hot maple syrup -- not that flavored crap -- that opens doors to a relationship Steven never expected to find when he agreed to go out with Becca that night. But will Thorne ever be able to stand-up to his homophobic bandmates and come out so he can finally find love?

Don't forget to leave a comment with your email address for a chance to win a copy of the book!

Release Day Giveaway

*For a chance to win big prizes from Silver Publishing, read through this blog and follow these simple instructions*

Visit each of our Blogs and read the posts. With each post there is ONE word that doesn't belong, so copy it and move onto the next post, read it, find the word that doesn't belong and onto the next. Since there are four of us, you'll be looking for four words.

Example: Henry took a walk along the worn path staring down at his rugged worn cowboy boots, and not at the beauty of the mountains bedroom that surrounded him, almost like massive arms ready to take him in their embrace to offer what comfort they could.

"Bedroom" is the out of place word. That will be the first word you copy. Once again you'll read through that and find another word that doesn't fit, and so on. Once you have all four words, it'll be an anagram of sorts. You'll then create a sentence from the words and send that to authorcaitlinricci@gmail.com and she will take all the correct entries and use Random.org to find our Blog Hop winner. We are giving away a gift certificate from Silver Publishing. Have fun! And good luck!!

Visit the other author's links before to compelete the sentence.

ABOUT LOVE IN THE SPOTLIGHT

It’s no big secret to anyone who knows me that I absolutely LOVE music. Music inspires everything I do. My life has a soundtrack, no kidding. Songs from the 80s remind me of summer days in the backyard, swimming in the pool. Songs from the 90s remind me of my friends from high school. Anyway, I think you kind of get the point.

So, it was sort of important to me to write a story surrounding something that calls to my heart almost as much as writing does.

Some of the greatest joys in my life come from watching musicians up on stage, doing what they do, performing for adoring fans—whether it is two or two-hundred. They put on a show for those of us who can’t do it or are too scared to do it. And one of the musicians I admire the most is a local singer/songwriter named Rod Henson. In a sense, he helped inspire this story. I’ve always loved watching Rod perform. He has so much presence on stage and so much talent, not to mention one hell of an amazing voice. His songs have inspired many, many of my stories.

Beyond the musical aspect of Love in the Spotlight, there’s another kind of explore bravery represented in that story, and that’s courage it takes to stand up and be who you are, to not fear what others think or say, and be true to yourself. It’s no secret that coming out isn’t easy, maybe it’s not as hard for some as it is for others, but it still takes a hell of a lot of bravery.

It’s my hope this story inspires a little courage, whether it’s to come out to friends and family, or to climb upon a stage and sing—or perform—your heart out. Whatever it is, do exactly what you love. Be brave.
